The Hollywood Bowl listed John Mulaney for Friday 8 May 2026 at 7.30pm as part of Netflix Is a Joke Fest. This archive covers that Los Angeles date, advertised with the Mister Whatever tour artwork.

The festival billing

The event was presented by Live Nation and Hewitt Silva. Its programme introduction described Mulaney’s work as host, writer and executive producer of Everybody’s Live with John Mulaney. It also connected that series to Everybody’s in LA, the six-night comedy series made during the 2024 festival, and noted his Broadway appearance in All In: Comedy About Love.

The original visitor information

The venue treated this as a lease event, with different entry rules from some of its own concerts. The published guidance prohibited outside alcohol, glass and cans. It allowed food and factory-sealed non-alcoholic drinks of one litre or less, and recommended arriving at least 90 minutes before the scheduled time.
