Ben Schwartz & Friends was listed at New York’s Beacon Theatre for Saturday 19 September 2026. The date formed part of the 2026 improv tour, a project that paired Schwartz with fellow performers to create comedy together on stage.

The touring format

The production was advertised as a fully improvised show, with dialogue and scenes created in the moment. Its format depended on the performers building material together rather than following a prepared script. The New York listing did not name the accompanying guests.

Schwartz’s comedy background

Schwartz’s screen work includes Jean-Ralphio in Parks and Recreation and the voice of Sonic in the Sonic the Hedgehog films. His long-form improvisation also appears in the Netflix specials Middleditch & Schwartz, providing context for the collaborative approach of this touring project.

The original Beacon listing

The advertised venue was the Beacon Theatre, 2124 Broadway, New York, NY 10023. This archive concerns the September 2026 engagement and its announced format. It does not reconstruct particular scenes or identify surprise performers, and the historical listing should not be treated as an offer for a future New York date.
