Bassam Wehbe brings One Way Ticket to Playhouse Studio at New Covent Garden Theatre on Thursday 19 November 2026. Written, directed and performed by Wehbe, this solo theatre piece uses comedy to explore leaving home, making choices and trying to begin again.

The story and the language

The central character navigates memories of a country he has left, an unsettled present and an uncertain future. The performance combines humour with reflection and is presented in Arabic with some French. Fayek Homaissi is credited as artistic adviser, with Cosette Dib overseeing artistic and stage management.

An hour at Playhouse Studio

Finding the theatre
