In early 2011 I came into contact with an amazing collection of Canadian comics, The John Bell Collection at Library and Archives Canada. What is so amazing about this collection is how meticulously and diligently it has been put together to include everything from zines and superheroes to educational and satirical comics.

The collection is very comprehensive, and I’ve made it my prime directive, in the interest of Canadian comic aficionados, to put up as much information as I can. Information on this subject is scarce and scattered, so I want to make available what would have otherwise been buried. I welcome comments and additional information I may not have posted.

Under my links you’ll find sites where some of the comics are posted online and hopefully a few other good resources, as well as my Branch Out page which will, eventually, consist of more tangible, print resources. I hope this is useful and you enjoy what you learn.
